“This is my mother-in-laws first husband in the chefs hat and her second husband in the fishing hat. Two men that could not be any more different but joined together in marriages to the same woman at different points of life and both fathers to the children from the first marriage. There were arguments and disagreements in the relationship between the two men but also an appreciation for what the other man meant in their children's life. Eventually that understanding developed into a friendship so much so that when the first husband was sick with cancer, the second husband changed his schedule around to ensure that he could carry the first husband to all of his doctors appointments to make sure that he got the care he needed. I'm just saying and the critic's may not agree, but for me, THIS is what family looks like!”
