Give a Cheer
DH's grandfather was the ranch foreman of Terlingua Ranch in Terlingua, TX back in the 1960's, which was partly owned by Carolle Shelby, the owner of the Shelby Mustang. He was also one of the people who helped start the Terlingua Chili Cook-offs. When he retired, Carolle Shelby gave him some land and named one of the roads after him. The small pic is DH's Grandfather in 1965. The larger pic is DH beneath that street sign in 2001. I found several articles on-line about the Shelby Mustang, Chili cook offs and the Terlingua Ranch that mentiined DH's grandfather. I printed them all out and attached to the back of this layout.
