This lo is made with the March Scraps of Darkness kit called Needful Things. It's AWESOME! Check out SOD! This kit included the G45 papers from the collection called The Old Curiosity Shoppe, which is the name of a novel by Charles Dickens. I had planned to scrap a couple of photos of my mom and step-dad when we went to see A Christmas Carol (also by Charles Dickens) last Christmas, but had planned to make it a Christmas page. When I got this kit, I decided to change my plans and turn these photos into a little tribute to one of my favorite authors. The one photo is my mom and step-dad. The other photo is the Playhouse in the Park in Cincinnati, where we saw the production. I made the banner loosely from a tutorial given by CraftySprinkles on her blog. Unfortunately, my internet was down when I decided to make the banner, so I just had to remember what I could, so it may not be exactly like her's, but I cut them out of cardboard and then glued the paper and set eyelets, which is so much fun. The four corners have Tim Holtz fragments with a piece of the paper from the kit glued to the back. Thanks for looking!
