Homer is my second cousin 1x removed. He is the father of Garnett who was in the Merchant Marines. Homer is the fellow handling the machine gun, I have no idea who the man facing the camera is. It's amazing to have WWI era photo. I think this was a basic training. He was a great man. His daughter tells so many cute stories about him.

I found a WWI poster that says "help stamp out the Kaiser" which caught my eye because I remember older people used the expression "To Hell with the Kaiser".
