Don't you just get a kick out of that?! I've noticed many old photo's w/mad people in them!! lol LOVE the BG pprs! ; ) and the ripped layers are so vintage perfect. Great color choices too. Love your work Vicki~

Oh yeah, she definitely didn't want her photo done. She was probably worried about what the kids were getting into while she was sitting there forever. LOL I love that background paper. It rocks!

12 children? No wonder she's not smiling, lol!!! Just kidding - like Lisa said they DID have to stay perfectly still and the serious expression must have been the one that was easy to keep for all those seconds. I do love her, and I love your background, it's a perfect way to tell her story.

Vicki, yes I agree ,she looks MAD & then some, but I still like the page. That pic is very old indeed!! I might be mad too if I raised 12 children!!! Poor Sallie... But we love her anyway. Hugs...

Vicki, you are SO lucky to have all of these wonderful photos!! I researched ancestry and wasn't able to come up with even one photo. I think because people back in those days had to remain very still in order for the photo to come out clear, a lot of them were probably in awe on the camera. But, having to raise all those children is enough to frustrate any mother : )
