Love these papers and how creatively you used them. I especially love how you die cut the black pp and I agree with you, it's die cut style really goes well with the papers (in fact, almost looks identical to that Aqua pp). And it being black really draws your eye to that fantastic photo.

Another awesome layout. I seen picture like this on my mother side of the family. My maternal grandmother and her two sisters and brother had a picture like this done. My great-aunt has the picture. Well two of the same one. One is in black and white the other was colorize probably by the photography who took the picture. I know one day it'll be in my hands and will go right into the my mother's family heritage album.

If it 1943, he was probably in the war and that is why he wasn't in the photo. Incredible layout. My first thought was what you did with the black piece. It is wonderful and really highlights the photo. The vintage papers look so great all together. Well done!!!
