One of my fav places in Seoul is Insadong - a street filled with galleries, curios shops, tea houses, etc. We spent a relaxing afternoon checking out some excellent galleries, alternately popping into places when it got too cold to walk outside (which was every 10 steps or so!). It had just started snowing out, and my hubby was marvelling out of this 5th floor window that looked down into the central courtyard. I was looking around at the art pieces on the walls, but was drawn to the light here, and had to snap a photo before he moved! (He later requested for another to be taken in black & white but it didn't turn out quite as beautifully)

I experimented with a bunch of different things here - first i masked the background with a brick pattern, but then i decided to tear out my remaining BB Enchanted black pps with those pretty glitter swirls and layered them on... so you can't see any masking anymore! Then, I wanted to soften the otherwise harsh b/w palette, so i painted the flowers a light sage. I found a small tag in a matching sage color and tucked it behind the photo for journaling! TFL!!
