KITTY!!! What are you doing? Don't you know that Mom's next layout will be of you hitting the water?? Silly feline! But, in the meantime, your decomentation of this exciting event is simply stunning!
Oh, Kitty, what in the world were you thinking????????? I don't really think that cats CAN swim and here you are parachuting into unknown waters!!!! I just hope that there is a passing boat nearby...
Meanwhile, you HAVE done yourself proud with this page full of gorgeous blues and wonderfully cut shells and of course, what no Kitty page can be without: the puuuurfectly place piece of burlap!!!!!
Kitty is at it again! And even Chena couldn't stop her!! I can't tell you how much I enjoyed reading episode #40, Jennifer! Your creativity and artisic eye absolutely amaze me each and every time!
Great story and wonderful lo. glad to see you all getting along so well. Please don't land in the sea, remember the sharks. Here's hoping you can hitch a ride back with one of the whales that pass by there.Have fun EK.
EK, I'm very stressed that you've outlived your 9 lives!!! Certainly don't want the lo's and adventure stories to end! Why didn't Chena parachute too though...I understand that kangaroo could easily "jump"! LOL TFS!!

This is so great. I cant get a close up though. How can i see how very purfect it is! Love the colors, that little fan on the bottom left, the story, the photo, and design
Oh my those fish are so pretty! I guess kitty also packed scuba gear? Kitty is going to have a lot of spa work after a dip in the ocean, salt can be hard on the claws! Love those seashells!
Ohhhh Noooo Kitty! I was hoping you wouldn't be dangling from a parachute! I hope your next lo doesn't have you bobbing around in the water like a furry cork! I love this! Love that pretty, pretty, blue with those great fish, burlap, hot air balloon. Is there no end to what you can do?
This is Episode #40 already! wow. So what are the pair up to this time?
In Episode #39, Kitty, Chena, and their new friend Kangaroo took a day to enjoy the lovely scenic Nullabor Bluffs and have a nice picnic by the sea.
Who are the characters in this photo, you might ask? Chena is a pup owned by fellow artist, Maggi Harding. Maggi kindly allows Chena to sight see with Miss Kitty. I have to believe that Chena is the sensible one of the pair and a pup of certain "standards". She is a Standard Poodle after all which must mean something. I have no idea who owns the Kangaroo, but a new friend is a new friend.
This time, I think Kitty was too fast for even Chena to speak up. Before anyone could say "NO Kitty, Don't", Kitty started digging around in the Kangaroo's pouch for the parachute she brought with her. Wondering how she even fit all that into the Kangaroos pouch?
A parachute? Really Kitty? Made with belt straps - ingenious but crazy. It's plumb amazing that Kitty could get those belts fastened so quickly with her furry paws and no thumbs. I bet she had practiced this a hundred times over for Kitty puuuurfection.
Well, it worked and off she sailed with one big Kitty leap, parachute all puffed up with air and softly floating her to the sea below. You do realize that ya gotta swim now Kitty. I've never seen Kitty swim and I imagine she's all splashes, cat paws flailing and kicking like crazy. Here's an interesting thought...does Kitty do the dog paddle?
This design was based on a Round Robin Challenge at Scraps of Darkness/Scraps Of Elegance created by our wonderfully creative member, Violent Kittie, Lee. Escape Kitty and Violent Kittie have become quite chummy. Lee is a doll and super talented so we thought we would have fun lifting her design. Please go check out her talent.
This was created using the Scraps Of Elegance Butterfly Dreams Kit. This month was gorgeous and had a bit of whimsy in it for Kitty. Please check the kit out and join us. It's purrfectly coordinated to take all the painstaking headache out of trying to get papers and embelllies to coordinate.
The photo once again is courtesy of Maryanne Stanford, aka Oziem. Thanks Maryanne for the kindness in sending me your wonderful photos for Escape Kitty to use.
Thanks also to Maggi Harding, Maggi43,and her sweetheart of a dog, Chena. I have been fortunate enough to meet Chena in real life and take photos of this splendid dog. She is a snuggly doll and more human like than dog. She's apparently more well traveled than most humans. please check out her blog: http://scraptravelbark.blogspot.com/
