What a beautiful layout for a pair of elegant felines! We too, have a dining room chair permanently positioned in front of the window, towel to protect. I must have left my page open to Escape Kitty's page too long, because I found my 12 year old indoor princess out on the deck last week.
OMG!!!!!! I just Love this LO------ they are just precious. It is amazing how we manage to get pics of the neatest things. Scrappers keep there camera attached to their hand. Ready -set-shoot. Love your stories also. You do beautiful work.
Ah, such elegance, as is your due as the arbiter of all things feline! You and Stay-at-Home kitty must watch carefully for the infamous Stalker! Wonderfully stylish layout, my friend!
Poor Stay-Behind-Cat! He misses out on everything! Love the pink, black and white theme and the elegant chandelier - with a room that peaceful looking, why does Escape Kitty even want to escape?
This is very elegant with the beautiful choice of blk/wht paper and the chandelier.... the punch adds the purrfect PUNCH....... great embellies....and the pink bird cage paper is a nice pop of color. GREAT JOB!
quite elegant and sophisticated for you EK and your brother, Stay behind Kitty. Hey, with digs like that, you should both be very HAPPY to stay at home. Looks like a luxurious place to hang out. The lo is MANGIFICENT with so many lovely details - GREAT job EK although I am sure Jen should take most of the credit. Oh and BTW Winnie is quite jealous - she's not allowed on the furniture.
Stunning, Kitty! LOVE the quote and the photo is perfect on this LO! Love that red ppr in the bg too! My kitties, Luci and Gabi have a similar spot too. Good to have those spaces! :)
Jen, that is one stunning photo!!!!!!!!!!
EK, I love your deep masking and rub-on; that chandelier is the prefect blingage that only you deserve!!!! Gorgeous page!!!!
EK you are so lucky to have such a gorgeous spot to lounge, gaze needlessly out the window without a care in the world!!! I think I am coming to your house and sit in her spot LOL Beautifully done lo...always such amazing details and stories!!!!!!
Dear Kitty, I too sit on a chair near giant windows, guarding the yard from the birds, skinks and other intruders to my domain. But know this, YOU are invited anytime! Love, Bunny.
PS Mom says this LO is amazing and you are fast convincing her to take the plunge into the kits!!!
Oh Kitty you look so gorgeously elegant sitting in your chair in front of that beautiful view! Love the masking and your chandelier-so fancy, but what do we expect from such a pristine gal? You can break the rules all you want to, because as you know, I am not so good at following them myself-lol! I am just so glad you got to play along!! FAV!
Wow...Kitty...this is gorgeous and so very elegant...somehow I see your mom's fingerprints on it...not your paw prints!! Love the stenciled corners, chandelier and bling! The red bg pp with birdcages that are EMPTY...hmm..that would be all Kitty! Love the photo of you and your bro! xox

this is beautiful, love the pop of red and your pretty corners, so many details, I have to look at it over and over to catch it all, love the chandelier and I am SURE that the wheels are turning in Kitty's head, I mean he did create this fabulous layout.....
Oh that photo is fabulous, love how they're looking at different directions too. Really, really love the stencil treatment in black, it blends in so perfectly with the papers.
Kitty created this for Renea Harrison's Stalker Challenge at Scraps of Darkness/ Scraps Of Elegance. She used the wonderful Arpil Scrpas Of Darkness Kit, Sakurabana. It's every bit as exotic as Escape Kitty thinks she is. Please check this kit out. This LO is also based on the sketch by Charlotte Jenkins, suepup. Thanks for the monthly inspiration.
Here is a quick run down of Renea's rules. This month we are going to do a twist on the Stalker Challenge, and pretend that I am the Stalker. I have become your Stalker and I am know stalking your home. I want you to pick out a room in your home that I would see and tell me something about that room. Beginning the title with "This Is Where I .........".
Kitty did not title this exactly as the directions said, well, because I helped her with the title and sometimes I am "direction challenged". LOL. So this is what we are stuck with -sorry Kitty.
Anyway, this is Escape Kitty and her cat brother, StayBehindCat just gazing out the open window enjoying the fresh morning air. This seems to be "Central Command" at our house for the cats. This is where they dream, nap, converse with the birds and squirrels and generally enjoy life at home.
You can almost see the wheels turning in Kittys head. Almost.
There is a rub on here to the left of the photo that is sooooo puuurfect for Miss Kitty reads: I may not have gone where I intended to go but I think I've ended up where I intended to be.
I used some Dusty Attic chandeliers small 2pk DA0080, painted black and added some accent gems.
Thanks for looking. Please check out Escape Kitty's blog and don't forget - Kitty needs YOU to like her on FACEBOOK. She is shooting for world domination feline style and needs your help. http://www.facebook.com/EscapeKitty?ref=tn_tnmn
