My Mom has made the Traditional Ukrainian Christmas Eve meatless dinners for all 59 years of my life!! It is wonderful!! Some of your dishes are new to me, but most are the same. Only thing is that is is SO many different dishes!! We always have tons of leftovers!! It was nice to have your MIL there to help!! Love your embroidery!! Wonderful lo!! xox

Ukrainian Christmas Eve Supper 2001 PG 2

This LO is about the Ukrainian Christmas Eve dinner I made to honour my dh's heritage. It was a challenge. I was eight months' pregnant at the time and had an energetic eighteen month-old running around too :) My MIL is helping me out in the kitchen in the lower photo (thank you Lorna!).

I embroidered the page using an image that is usually placed on Ukrainian Easter Eggs. It's been fun to learn how to embroider (this week, I learned how to make a French Knot) The little cards are the different dishes I served - TFL
