This is FABULOUS! Such beautiful sepia tone photo! You framed it perfectly! Love the touching journaling! Lovely embellishments, especially old-fashion half-boots. Linda, you are the best memory keeper!
I adore this page; this is what scrapbooking, for me, is all about - PRESERVING THE MEMORIES! And again, I hope you included your description somewhere with this heartfelt page.
This layout is very special to me. I love the photo of their wedding, just seeing them before I knew who they were is so special.
Our grandparents, Nana and Grampie loved all of us 6 children and treated us like a precious gem. We loved to sleep over as much as we could. We loved everything about them and built strong fond memories together.
We lived with them for 6 years, they have a two family home, and were sad when our parents bought a house. I think my Nana influenced me in ways that helped shape who I am today. I admired her and loved the "old" fashion ways of doing life in her own way
My Grampie was also so special. He worked hard in a boiler room for people with mental issues. He was a proud man, and in the summer brought us so much fresh food from the garden. Also he would find toys that needed fixing, he made them like new and gave them to us. We loved our wonderful Grampie.
Life is grand, these memories are precious and held fast in my heart. I love you both and still miss you. Love Linda
