Every fall Berlin embraces the season with the River Fire festivities. We have many activities that capitalizes the beautiful area we live in.
This is the River Fire where there is actually fires going down the middle of the river. In our past history boom piers were made in the center of the river to have men keep the logs going to the paper mills.
Today we honor them by placing piles of wooden pallets on each one going up river. When night falls the piers are lit to shine on the water and dance in the dark. A beautiful sight to experience.
