This is the state where my family settled down and became my home. I live in NH but CT will always be home. I am going home this coming week as we are leaving on Wed. 2:00 am. to miss all the traffic in the Springfield area where the highway goes from four lanes to 2 as there was no room in the city for expansion.
After we drive past the exit to Bradley International Airport, we take an exit about 10 miles that is a shortcut to completely miss going any where near Hartford and brings us out on 84 going towards Boston. My sister's exit is not far from the highway.
I miss my sister Trish so much as we are close and talk almost everyday. We have a lot of crazy fun together lots of laughs and sometimes quiet talking. We sit on her nice deck and have our coffee listening to the quiet in the am.
We will be coming home Monday Aug. 5th, I always get so sad when I leave my home behind.
