DW2007 Lifelong

I'm part of a Designing with 2007 challenge group on another site and this was my first layout for January. It's inspired by Jan.3: Add a small splash of bright color to a neutral background.

Journaling reads: "Beth and I have been friends since we met in the summer of 1993. My dad and her mom graduated high school together (we met at their 20 year reunion). Even though we went to different schools we stayed in touch. No matter how much time goes by between visits, we always pick up right where we left off. We are lifelong friends!"

I used plain cream cardstock and painted a thin layer of cream paint on it then blotted distress ink on to get an aged look.
