Another really cute page and I love how great the colors work with her outfit and cakepop. I love the stitching and have to buy the Sew Easy one day (as soon as DH goes back to work)LOL....nice job on this page.
Photo of Nina from one of our many Saturday morning trips to Starbucks while DH is golfing. I loved how this paper worked perfectly with her outfit and cake pop.
This was one of my LOs from last weekend's crop. I decided the "little sumpin'" it needed was a sleeve from Starbucks!! I covered it in scraps and washi and a sticker from the Echo Park Little Girl collection. I did some rearranging on this page to make everything work. In hindsight, I probably should have made the sleeve a journal pocket, but I'd already done the journaling, and didn't want to waste a journal card to make the writing work. So, it works for me.
I also went stitch happy with this one. Love the Sew Easy, but I might rethink using it on such a large space...this took over an hour and a half to do the stitching!!
Use Your Scraps: The only scrap I used was the bit of twine around the coffee sleeve. And I guess upcycling the coffee sleeve counts as using a scrap, right? :)
Sketch: I think this started out based on a 12x12 sketch from the April 2012 Page Maps (the one with the tall flowers), but I ended up tweaking it.
