This was the first year Nina really got into Halloween. I got this set of wings, crown, skirt and wand from Wal-Mart and the "purple fairy princess" costume was a huge hit! We put it on in the morning for her pre-school party, and she waved the wand saying, "I'm MAKING MAGICS!" I have the video of it somewhere, it's super cute. :)

The purple is really more eggplant in person. I hate photographing purple because it never comes out right!

I misted the background with some Perfect Pearls and Glimmer Mist. I need to work on that, and not use cheap cardstock because my page is warped now. :( I tore and inked the strips of papers running down the side of the page to give them a distressed look. I love the Donna Salazar for Spellbinders flower die; I use that a lot in my LOs. I also stitched the center photo to the two side photos -- I made the stitching crooked on purpose. (Really! :) ) It is not fun using the Sew Easy on more than one layer.

Use Your Scraps: I used scrap ribbon from last Halloween's cookie packages, and I feel like I've used these thickers so much that anything left is a scrap. (As you can see, I'm out of M's) :)
