this is cute and i love corn on the cob (except when it gets stuck in my teeth...lol) i need to practice with my sew easy, i just can't get the hang of it :-(
i think your lo is perfect! i absolutely love the circles at the bottom, and the title work. I've started keeping the packaging that comes along with k&co stickers and embellies- they're always patterned and always different. I love that about the packaging!~
DD's first time trying corn on the cob when she was about 20 months old! She was in complete love with it.
This was a fun one for me! I saw this Cosmo Cricket kit at Archiver's and had to have it. I may be the last scrapper on earth to realize this, but I'm never again throwing away the insert that comes with paper collections. That's where the circles and the small strips came from -- I got to use all of the patterns and designs from the kit without waiting for scraps, or punching 1" holes in a brand new piece of paper.
The stitching at the bottom is a little more "homespun" than I'd like. Lesson learned -- don't use the Sew Easy with more than two layers of thicker paper.
Use Your Scraps: I'm calling using the insert from the paper kit a scrap. :)
Sketch-Got Sketch? #136. The original sketch calls for a flourish of some sort next to the title, but I feel like there's enough going on in the middle of the page.
