This is delightful...I love the way you used each of the elements. Great story and adorable photos. I have had wild curly hair all my life and sometimes I want to look sleek..but that isn't me either so wild it is..
This is beautiful. It's fun to see her hair different, but in the end it doesn't look like her. She's a cutie patootie just like she is. But the photos made a terrific and fun LO!
I had taken Nina for a haircut, and the stylist offered to blow out Nina's hair. You've all seen her hair -- it is WILD! I loved this look -- we went to a party at her school after and everyone commented how grown up she looked. It was obvious that Nina thought her hair was cool, but she just wasn't totally comfortable in it. DH actually said, "It's just not her!" Moral of the story: my kid doesn't have straight hair, doesn't even want straight hair, don't bother straightening it! (And it was so humid that it stayed like this for 30 minutes before curling back up anyway.)
I love the way this turned out! I wanted to use this transparency piece (I don't use those a lot) and Lisa came up with the brilliant idea to put brads in the flower centers. PERFECT!!! I also wanted to use this title card, but create a different title -- "MAIN-tamed" or "Coiffed", but there was just no good place to put it. So in the end, I kept the title card tucked up top, journaled on the bottom and called it a day. All the die-cuts came from my Cameo.
