Give a Cheer
August 18, 2011 My girlfriends Michelle and Stephanie and I took all our babies to Belleayre Beach at Pine Hill Lake. Its a small man-made lake, a pond really, that supplies the water to make snow at Belleayre Ski Resort in the Catskill Mountains in winter. In the summer, its a fantastic beach and park facility with a grassy picnic area. We spend the whole day, swimming, sunning, eating, and digging in the sand. Over and over. Oh, it's relaxing!! The sand is pretty and white, the water is clear and cool. There is a dock in the deep water that I swim out to with the kids and we practice our dives. We look forward to this adventure every year, because of the peacefulness of the mountains and water, and the togetherness! I am so grateful that we can take days like this to play and connect and relax...We moms love it just as much as the kids do!! OK, maybe more, but don't tell them!!
