The impetus for this layout came from Ali Edwards' Hello Story class over at Big Picture Classes. The prompt was to create a six-word story, a challenge once undertaken by Hemingway. His story was “For sale: baby shoes, never used.” His words really struck me, and inspired me to tell this story. The label words on the far right provide a little more insight into the story without going into a lot of gory detail. Someday I will likely tell the whole of this challenging story, but for today this is enough. The photo was taken in 1995. I was 16 years old. Many thanks to Lisa Moorefield's chalkboard inspiration and resources on her blog. Chalkboard background created by James at foolishfire.com
