I know I scraplifted at least the title design from a layout I saw somewhere (I think it was probably in a magazine) - but I can't remember if I copied the whole layout or not. It's been a while. LOL Anyway, this was Easter 2005, and as it turns out it was the first time that *any* of us had dyed Easter eggs! Messy but a lot of fun. :) My favorite part was when my daughter (then 2 years old) gave an egg a kiss and held it to her cheek and said, “awwww, love egg!” LOL Kids really do the darndest things! ;) I used crackle glaze and acrylic paint on the chipboard letters in the title. The negative “C” is backed with another photo of the eggs, and I applied the rub-on “First” right on top of the dried paint. I also painted the chipboard bookplate and chalked the flower to match the colors in my layout. Not sure why the photos turned out so dark in the scan; they're much better IRL.
Materials: cardstock, Bazzill; patterned paper, Sandylion (I think!); chipboard letters, acrylic paint, brads, paper clips, and flower, Making Memories; rub-ons, Scrapworks; ribbon, American Crafts; crackle glaze, Delta; ribbon slider, Junkitz. TFL! ~Heather :)
