<p>Let me just start off by saying “thank you” for looking at my layout! :) This layout is about my little girl; this is my entry in a circle journal I'm doing at my LSS, the theme was “Bumps in the Road of Life.” It was hard to scrap this, but I am very glad I did. The writing, especially, seemed to help me a lot. If you'd like to read the journaling (the title bar lifts up to reveal it), I posted it at my blog since it's kind of long: http://scrappyhare.blogspot.com/2007/02/hannahs-story.html [scrappyhare.blogspot.com] I hope that my layout, and Hannah's story, will move you to make a donation through Ali Edwards' charity badge http://aliedwards.typepad.com/_a_/2007/02/here_we_go_wwws.html [aliedwards.typepad.com] and encourage your friends & family to do so too… help kids like Simon Edwards and my Hannah! :) <p>A couple of notes about the layout itself… I made the photo collage on the left page in PSE (thanks Ali for the instructions! a challenge from her weekly aeZine) and printed it on my computer. The flower patterned paper is actually strips cut from 2 different sheets (same pattern, different colors) and then I alternated strips to make the background. And like I said above, the title bar lifts up to reveal the journaling. <p>Materials: cardstock, Bazzill and Prism; patterned paper, Li'l Davis and Provo Craft; brads, foam stamps, and acrylic paint, Making Memories; pens, Zig Millenium and Zig Writer from EK Success; computer software, Adobe Photoshop Elements 4.0; font, Trebuchet MS.
