Hello Dear Friends! Here's another layout using the SOE August kit. I just love the soft colors and all the goodies that comes with this kit!!

Would you believe that this pic is of me (19) and my DH (28) which was taken at Auke Bay, AK at the Chapel by the Lake. Yep! We have been married all this time. Andddd, would you believe that I weighed 105 lbs then?? Hard to if you saw me now lol! I made my dress which had a beautiful Swiss embroidered panel down the front. I appliqued lace all along the train and around the veil. It cost me $47 to make!! My DD's cost 20 times that much and it wasn't even that expensive in comparison to most.

The butterflies are from Reneasbouquets Etsy Shop. Everything else but the frame around the photo is SOE kits. The frame is actually border strips that I mitered (boy was the fun). Under the photo on the diagonal is some beautiful gossamer fabric which I gathered at both ends to make rosettes for the flowers to rest on. It's pretty cool, too bad you can't see it. I'll have more info on my blog.
