Oh, Kathy, so sorry that you lost Sarah. Feel certain, from what you described, that she knew that she was love. She had a sweet face and I'm sure it reflected her personality, which will stay with you forever. (I read about the earthquake. So glad that there was no life lost or major damage. Take care.)
Oh my goodness Kathy this is gorgeous!! Love all the layers, pprs, colors, flowers and design. Wonderful loving tribute to her. So very sorry for your loss. Truly. You know you can count on me if you need me for anything. Really Love this layout. Hugs ~~ Mary
Gorgeous layout and tribute to your precious Sarah! Love how the colours in the photo and flower cluster contrast with the papers and make the layout really "pop". That's something I should try. I tend to be too "matchy poo" in my layouts, lol.
So sorry for your loss. We went through that about 9 months ago and it is not easy. What a lovely tribute you made for her here. She is gorgeous and I love how your flowers draw you to her photo and her beautiful color. I also loved how she is still the star of the page. BTW, would LOVE to know how you made that gorgeous aqua/teal bow. It looks like maybe you dyed it? Anyway, I don't know if this helps but time really has helped me tremendously. What a lovely way you've honored her.
beautiful page of creative memories..so sorry for your loss. how wonderful she had an extra 10 years of life filled with a heap of love I am sure....xo
I'm so sorry, I've been in your shoes! What a gorgeous photo and tribute page, your layers, punching and inking are totally stunning. I can see you put your heart into this one!!!!!
Awwww, what a sweet picture and beautiful layout! So sorry about your sweet puppy. Love your punching, inking, flowers, bow and necklace. Is that white floral paper that you inked around the edges a die-cut or did it already come that way! That's so cool!
Yes, we had a sizeable earthquake yesterday, it was 6.1!!!! Yes, it was scary because it was so intense, lots of shaking up and down. Glad it is over (for now).
This lo is of our precious doxie, Sarah. She past away last month due to severe diabetes. We are heartbroken. She was rescued from death row about 10 years ago, and was definitely abused by previous owners. We called her "Miss Piggy" and "Sarah Lee" because she loved to eat. She got so fat, was truly happy. We figured she deserved it! She will always be loved in our hearts and truly missed.
My lo was inspired by the fabulous Maggi Harding. She had a tut online of how to make this awesome design, and I just had to try it out. She is so talented, and thank you Maggi for letting me lift your gorgeous creation.
I used one of my past SOD kits, the little heart necklace was one my hubby gave me many years ago.
I am so happy to have shared our sweet girl with you. Thank you so much for looking and your lovely comments. Big Alaska Bear Hugs!!!
