My son has his birthday on the same day! As he was growing up, we had his party on the date of the year he was in. ie: When he was 4, we had his party on the 4th of December, 5 on the 5th etc. We figured by the time he was 20 he wouldn't care! We always had a separate area for his birthday cards from our Christmas cards - I don't think he's held it against me - he was due on the 8th!!
