This layout is of my niece on her birthday.
For Spotlight gallery challenge: I lifted Manou's layout here: https://www.scrapbook.com/galleries/1378911/view/6109337/-1/0/0.html and added a couple of my own touches.

For the pair a chrome challenge: Layout is mostly red and green with a few hints of white, cream and brown. Which was a challenge for me, cause i Like using light and dark colors.

For this layout (though not utterly complicated) there are layers of paint and mixed media. I used stenciling to create the circle pattern. I used paper clay to create the center of the flowers (which I then added glitter to), I painted the flowers green, since I didnt have flowers in the right shade. And I altered a prima flower but adding red mist and glitter paste. I also painted the die cut circle pattern in background green (which i personally did not die cut, it came that way). Also edged most of the edges with brown ink.

As for my own touches I added a flower and used burlap instead of cork, since I just happened to have some red burlap lying around.
All the papers are hoarded. The swirl at the bottom is from K and Co. (did not die cut that either.

This color scheme would work well for Christmas, though, the photo is not from Christmas....
