Sort of built by my honey we bought the drawers units from Ikea and then he built the top to put on them, he wanted to put the drawers facing out but it would not have left me enough room if I wanted to sit at that desk..but this is perfect for what I needed more room to SHOP LOL !!

New desk for my room.

My husband built the top to put on top of two Alex drawers from Ikea. He left both ends open and as well as the centre where I have the boxes to keep things I use alot, the ends are where I store my cutting boards, score board etc.
