Had to make this after a rough week with DD last week! Journaling reads: Some days are like a roller coaster with you. We butt heads quite often and over silly things. One minute you can be a total sweetie and the next--your stubborn, sassy side comes out in full force. I'm not sure how to handle it sometimes. At the end of the day, I often think of how I wish I had more patience or that I'd handled a particular situation differently. I wish I could be better at picking my battles with you. I think that part of me doesn't want you to grow up so quickly and it scares me to see how fast you are turning into this fiercly independent little woman. I can just try my best and love you with all my heart. I know this is a normal stage...and secretly? I sorta like the mix of sweet and sass (even though the sass is hard sometimes!)...you aren't a total pushover and you've got this kindness that I love so much!
