I think I would use a black background - it will make this pop. Other papers too, but start with a little black around the edge. It is definitely 'scrap worthy'! As a matter of fact, when I saw the picture, I had a flashback from when my kids were young, and it made me giggle!!!
I'd probably go with primary colors on a white background....somehow incorporate some swirls that give that "hurricane-y" effect. I'd used exactly the title you have now. You might even take picts of a couple of the books/toys and have them "lifted up" in your hurricane accent...Just some thoughts!
5x7 works or maybe go off the wall and crop it too an odd size...4X10 emphise the trail of toys (just dont print at costco this is what i had trouble with). paper i am in a mixing pp stage so i would go with that too add to the caose i say lol.
I agree with Candi, making it a 5 x 7. You can actually do your journaling on the empty space in the picture, bottom left. You can use a variety of colors because there are so many colors in the picture. You can put the picture in the top left corner and make swirls going through the page leading up to the photo, like a hurricane. I love the title and it would be great if you could go with the hurricane theme.
What about using some primary colors that pull out the TOYS with a white bg?! Make the pic a 5x7 with little mismatched primary color blocks that overlap as amat behind the pic - leaving white space and room to doodle or journal?!
I really want to scrap this pic, even though it's not the best b/c this is what our living room looks like everyday at the end of the day, but I need help!! Any suggestions on how to scrap this? Thanks!
