I did this for a challenge on another scrapbook site. We had to use some washi tape. This layout is of my paternal great-grandfather. I found the original wallet size photo of him in my grandmother's belongings. I decided to fix it up and print it out as a 5x7. John, is the father to my grandfather. He had ten children from his two marriages. I journal a little bit about where he was born who his parents were. Who he married and how many children he had. I like this photo I think it was taken from a photo booth since the original was a tiny little picture. I know the layout is a little dirty and kind of dark. He used to work on the boats shoveling coal in the boilers. He would do that off and on it depend on the seasons. In one of the stories my great-aunt wrote about my grandfather's childhood. She would say their father would sometimes come home all dark in coal. That why I choose the colors for the layout. In his later years he worker as a farmer and any other jobs he could find.
