This layout is of the intriguing and very beautiful early 1900's New York super model, Evelyn Nesbit. I am just so fascinated with her! Her beauty deserves to be show cased in modern-day scrapbooking.
I chose to use Fabscraps gorgeous French Heritage Collection. I learned how to make a homemade punched doily from a tutorial by Gabrielle Pollacco. I used Martha Stewart's Lace Flowers corner punch to make it and to coordinate with the beautiful lace jacket Evelyn is wearing. The pearls, pewter key, diamond shaped ‘bling on a roll' and tiny key w/key hole are from Michael's.
The gorgeous mulberry roses in so many different shades of lilacs and plums, as well as the silver berry spray are from Wild Orchid Crafts (Britain). The white lace flowers are Prima ‘Chantelle Medallion'. The awesomely cool thimble/crystal embellishment is by art-i-cake. I just LOVE the unusual eye-catching jewelry in this line. The thimble was a gold color that I embossed with Lindy's gorgeous ‘Silver Moon Orchid'. WOW! I was so happy to see that it is a perfect match to the colors in this LO! A Momenta flourish corner really helped to frame the photo.
