What a blessing it was to grow up in a big family. There are eleven cousins (including my brother, sister and me) on my dad’s side alone! This has always made family gatherings a lot of fun, especially the 4th of July. Uncle Joe and Aunt Missy live on a lake and every year the family gathers at their house for a cookout, and lots of fun tubing and wave-running on the lake! Now that I’m married and no longer living in Michigan, it’s rare that I get to see them all, but Cousin Cathy sent me this wonderful picture of all the cousins (except me and Cousin Jessica, who lives in Colorado). I love to see their smiling faces and think of all the fun times we’ve had as cousins. I hope Mia will feel the same way about her cousins!
