This year the kids and I decided to take a break from our usual holiday tradition of making gingerbread houses, and instead we made rice krispie treat houses. It was much easier and tastier too! I made the rice krispies, but Matt and Lily did all of the decorating. They each made a house, a wreath and a krispie man. Their favorite part was wearing the aprons (and eathing the treats too!) I think we may continue this tradition in the future and forget about good ol' gingie! 12/09
