This is a Javelina. They are wild animals of the Sonora Desert. People get upset if you call them pigs, they are Peccaries and cannot be domesticated and you wouldn't want one, they have horrid fangs they would love to use on your leg. They are a nuisance in the area and at this place they are fenced out of an area where birds are fed. If you have bird feeders or garbage cans or dog bowls outside you have Javelinas ( hahv- ah- lee'- nas) even in town.
