Gorgeous building. I love all these old places , so much character to them. The pieces on the roof ends make me think of the balinese dancers and their long fingernails.

Kind of gloomy as I had to take it during a rainstorm but this Stave Church was built in North Dakota over a period of years by old world artisans. It is all hand carved and hand fitted andd NO NAILS WERE USED. They didn't use nails 1,000 years ago in Norway and they didn't use them here. Incredibly beautiful place.
