This is how a rich lady from Spain would have riden a horse in Mexico 150 years ago. Note the split skirt (no fears of riding astride for them) The front of the saddle is silver, real silver, and carved in beautiful designs. The scarf at her waist, the lace (which back then would have been hand made) the riding quirt and woven saddle blanket are perfect also. Spurs? Just spurs which women would have worn, little different than today's. Oh and the stirrup is silver.
