This hand carved piece is a small section around a painting. It is about 6 inches or so tall and several feet long. It acanthus (if I spelled that right) The leaves curl in a graceful arc around the flower. Again all perfectly made as it is a part of worship and all by hand and mostly by the monks themselves.
