This is for Pammy's Acceptance challenge
I used a clear acetate sheet to create the Hambly flap to mask the journaling
Also used SR & KI PPs

Journaling reads:
Morning 2008. This is me in all my glory as good as it is going to get. Well it is 6.30am and I have only had 3 hrs sleep. Listen to me making excuses. At 38 I can still wake up some mornings wishing I could change the face looking back at me in the mirror. I guess it goes back to my formative years. I was never one of the pretty girls in my group. The boys were not lining up to ask me out. Indeed with kinky brown hair, metal rimmed specs, flat chest and spotty face probably the reverse was true. Over the years I have spent a small fortune on lotions, potions and makeup but it is still the same face staring back at me . Now in my late 30s although I still love to spend my hard earned cash on my Lancome and clinque products the palpations are no longer there when I step out in a crowd. I can honestly say that most days I can accept that what I have is OK. I don't need a new face the old one is just fine by me.

( i might add the photo really was taken this morning at an unhospitable hour baering in mind we were celebrating NY to the small hours - i can be thankful to my youngest for this 'classic photo shot'!!! )
