For a challenge on another site, this week we had to incorporate texture and dimension, I distressed the papers and inked then, I used pearls on the circle and raised the circle and title by using foam squares, I used aida behind the photo for texture, there is also a wire running around the whole page that is beaded with little lilac hearts, the photo is of my mum as a little girl and the journalling reads :Mum has always had a sort of love-hate relationship with her hair.
It is a beautiful colour and is naturally very curly,
but the unruliness has limited her choice of styles.
As a child she looked adorable
and this is one of my favourite photos of her
