oh def mat the pics and use the blue in the background of the photos - a light turquiose it looks like. That would be perfect!!
The title is adorable!! Good work!! :)
you could use an orange (not bright orange, but like a dark peach/orange), dark brown, or even blue to match the background of the shoe pics. You might even want to mat your title, so it really sticks out.
If you feel ambitious, you could do a little booklet on the right, with pictures inside of it, instead of having all the pictures on the page. Like a mini photo album, or a fold out accordian or similar.
I really like that you have shavings from the actual shoes - that's really neat! I think writing the date/location on one like you mentioned is a good idea.
Thanks Dawn, I thought of matting them but I dont know what color or colors to use! The paper is very difficult to match to the normal colors! Any suggestions on what color of matting to use?? Black?? White??? I really havent a clue on this one.
I like the way you used photos for the title. One suggestion would be to definately mat your photos! It really gives a nice clean look! You could even mat 2 or three times!! I think this is a nice start to a wonderful album!
This is a page I am making for my mothers scrapbook. It is about our visit to the wooden shoe factory at the Zaanse Schanse. In the lower right corner I will write a bit about the history of the shoes. Also, thinking of writing the date and Zaanse Schanse on the big piece of wood that they use to make the shoes. I took some shavings. lol. Any suggestions are always welcomed!!
