This is for the Scraplift the Person Before You Challenge and it is a scraplift of TexasMomOf4's "Alligators" which can be found here:

I have to thank her specifically for the inspiration to do a 2-page lo, as this is my first one ever!

This is also for the May Lyrics Challenge

Here is the journaling:
TALLADEGA 4/26/09 Carl Edwards was going to win! Or so I thought... Brad Keselowski tried to pass him which caused Edwards to go sideways down the track and eventually he went over Ryan Newman's hood. Then Edward's car went flying through the air into a safety fence. I thought he was dead. I thought spectators could be hurt or dead. He twirled a couple more times in the air and finally, what was left of the car came to a stop. The mangled mess sat on the track on fire. I thought for sure Edwards was dead. But then, he got out of the car and started ripping off the hoses that are connected to his helmet. I thought he was going to go kick Keselowski's butt! But to my surprise,
as Edwards got a standing ovation, he ran to the finish line to finish the race on foot! It didn't count as a completed race, and of course he didn't win but it sure was a cool ending to what I originally thought was going to be tragic!
