This is so lovely - you conveyed a magical, relaxed feeling here. Marvelous use/placement of multi-pics, outstanding journaling, love all the flowers & winged creatures. Fantastic page!
In case anyone else is wondering... a nymph is an immature dragonfly, pictured -- though massivley retouched by me since my photo quality was NOT good on that one -- in the bottom circle photo)... a damselfly is like a dragonfly except it folds its wing when it lands.
This is what I was doing this July! Journaling reads: Searching for dragonfly and damselfly nymphs at the outlet pond with the nature conservancy was definitely one of the coolest things we did on our vacation. Jim enjoyed it at least as much as Meg did, perhaps more. We scooped water and muddy sludge out of the edge of the pond and sorted through it to find nymphs. Meg found a tadpole with both front and back legs. One group found a larval eft salamander. And we all found lots and lots of nymphs. Then everything was returned very gently back to its habitat. I think we'll do this again!
