This is a poem I wrote for a friend whose mother passed. I am not really a "card" maker but, I get by. The poem reads:

The day that I left
And I went away,
The Lord took my hand
And began to say:

"You're now my Angel
For your time has come,
To spread your wings
There is much to be done.

There are flowers for tending
And many children to hug,
The babies need holding
To keep warm and snug".

So don't cry that I'm gone
I'll be busy you see,
And when you smell flowers
They may be from me.
