A woman I work with gave me a photo of her nephew and asked me if I could do something with it as a birthday gift for her Sister-In-Law. This young man passed away last year...so I was asked if I could include his favorite sayings, his nicknames and his favorite color..purple. This is what I came up with. I did all of the quilling in this piece...the petals around the flower, the birds, butterflies, flowers, bee and caterpillar. Then I placed it in a 8x10 shadowbox that I stained. I think this is one of my favorites and recieved many hugs for this. TFL!!
