It's a great memory and a wonderful way to preserve it, comic-book style!!!! I love your embellies and your doodling; and even more, I love that this loving memorial is enhanced by the contributions of your loving friends!!!!
Reminisce did a super hero/comic book lines several years ago. I've often wondered how one would do a superhero page with out the aid of papers and embellishments that were already done. Well, you nailed it! Just might have to CASE this idea, and I'm sure others will as well. Awesome job! Thanks for sharing!
so creatively done, what an adorable page! Cute teddy bear, photos, story, and cool arrows, boom . Fun page, what a great gift , how generous and thoughtful of you and Quick Silver to do these pages.
Creating a wonderful memory like this, so creative and original, with handmade embellishments, a great design, multi-layers, drawing and cutwork, all from your own imagination, really shows what scrapbooking is all about. I love the photo bomb idea, lettering and memorable pics, and the super hero die cut is priceless! The fireworks behind the star and bomb looks AWESOME.
This layout is a companion to my mom's (Quick Silver's) layout entitled "Comedic Times" and is for my cousin's album as a gift. The photos were taken at her wedding. All of the groomsmen and the groom himself wore superhero T-shirts under their suit shirts. And then my husband lent his Green Lantern T-shirt, which he just happened to have on hand, to my brother for a photo bomb! The photo of the groomsmen is small, and my brother and cousin's husband do not mind having their faces posted online, but I do not know "Batman" and did not want to post his face without his knowledge. So he's blurred. That will just add to the mystery of Batman's true identity. :)
I hand drew the "Crash" expression bubble and wording, as well as the "Flash Mob" expression bubble and wording (intentionally placed near The Flash in the photo). I also hand drew the bomb and "Boom!" wording, as well as the glittered fireworks. "Super Heroes" and "Photo Bomb" were cut on a Cricut Expression, using the "Nifty Fifties" cartridge. Thank you to my mom (Quick Silver) for always sharing her products when I need something, to Veronica ("Rice8994") for the adorable superhero teddy bear die-cut (also cut on a Cricut), and to Gabi ("Gabriellep") for the Bo Bunny Chunky Charms blue star and arrow chippies.
AND THANK YOU TO EVERYONE WHO ENJOYS THIS LAYOUT ENOUGH TO COMMENT ON IT.
