For the NSD Use Your Stamps Challenge: I used three colours of ink markers on the stamped peacock image; the background on the white paper is stamped, with the peacock overlaid; and the sentiment is stamped. I used Local King Stamps and ink markers for the peacock and background.

The really nice thing about card making and paper crafting is that you can tailor the project to reflect the tastes of the recipient. I have a cousin who loves owl and another one who loves peacocks! So I have been able to make custom cards and projects that are extra special for them. (Also, you can provide a little bit of yourself in the details of the project/gift.)
