Wow! That IS a lot of snow. We have had those snowfalls here in the past but this winter was more mild. One year I took pictures of the snow between my Craft Palace trailer and the garage. There isn't a lot of room between the two and when the snow slides off the garage it piles between it and my CP. One year it was all the way to the top of my trailer so I couldn't see anything but snow out of that side of windows! What's kind of alarming is when I'm crafting and that snow breaks off and slides down slamming into the trailer! Makes it rock a bit! LOL
That is a lot of snow! I am just getting back to the computer. We kept getting snow and more snow. I pulled a intervertebral muscle in my lower back years ago and now it is more prone to injury. All the shoveling made it angry and I would get better and then boom - I aggrevated it again. Ironically standing and walking made me loosed up and I could move better. Which was good as I was able to stand at work. Most of the other pharmacists prefered to sit so when I voluntered to do the jobs that required standing I did not meet any resistance. When I sat and up at a computer aggrevated it and when I stood up after doing that I was very stiff and in pain. I am finally getting back to normal. No scrapping for the past two months as well. I did some the other day. I am so done with snow!!!
At least you are keeping a sense of humor about the snow. Our whole town would be shut down with 3 feet of snow. We pretty much shut down with 3". The schools close and everything is bought out at the grocery stores.
Brad said that you need to keep the snow out your way. Really, we have only had azx couple of sizable snows (2"-6"). Nothing like you have! We would be huddled around the wood stove, if we got snow like that.
We started getting snow on March 12th. These photos were taken March 14th. This is out our front door. Our house sits sideways on our property so we park off the alley way. Theres about a foot of snow on my flower barrel. Since it hasnt been very cold, the snow has been melting. We have more snow coming! We scooped snow out here last nite about supper time. That construction will some day be Dougs big shop.
The other photos show our poor evergreen tree in the front yard and our back deck. The snow on the back deck was shoveled 3 times. The snow slides off the roof and really piles up! Below, between the house and the neighbors 6ft fence, we have very little room to throw the snow out of the way.
UPDATE: March 15th. Doug went out and scooped again. He measured 14 inches on the driveway.
