I made this painting for the Use your stamps challenge and did the twist. This is a little mixed media piece I'm sending to my cousin in her b-day card. It measures approx. 3 1/4" by 4 1/2" and is on 140lb watercolor paper. It has many layers. The stamps and characters came from a Graphic45 line whose name escapes me atm.
To create the background I first painted the layer with some pink craft paint, a green Jane Davenport Mermaid marker and Golden brand Titanium white fluid acrylic. Next I stamped with some Daler-Rowney burnt umber. Then I mixed the burnt umber with the pink and stamped more. Next, I used the just the pink with Liquitex Acrylic ink in copper mixed together and stamped more. After that I did splatters in copper. For the last of the stamping I used a Tim Holtz stamp and black ink for the border. I added the tag with a brad after I rubbed the tag with Prima Art Alchemy wax in blue lagoon.
For the second layer I wrapped a green and copper fiber around the paper and secured it with glue dots. I fussy cut the characters and adhered them to black cardstock and fussy cut again. I stuck pop-dots to the back to give dimension. Next, I doodled circles with black Uni-posca paint pen. For the final touch I added Tim Holtz crackle paint in Rock Candy (which is wet in this photo) because I couldn't find my Glossy Accents.

TFL and any kind comments!!!
