I made this easel card for my fiance' Mike. We had been discussing how I'd been making a bunch of fancy and frilly card and that he really liked the Skull card I made earlier this year (found here https://www.scrapbook.com/galleries/920489/view/6478629/4/0/0.html) He commented that he would love to see me make more cards (and other projects) similar to it. He has mentioned over the years how he'd love to see me make more things that expressed my gothic side. (Yes, I used to be a goth girl, loved vampires and all that goes with it.) Therefore, I decided to make this birthday card for him. I put on some of my favorite old songs by Bauhaus, Type O negative, 45 Grave, etc and got to work. This card is the result.
I've had these papers in my stash for a very long time. The red and purple as well as the stickers and die-cuts come from Creative Imaginations (out of business) - Marah Johnson collection. The ribbon and cord is from ReallyReasonableRibbon.com TFL and I appreciate your comments etc
entered in August Challenges - scraps (that fancy border thingy) - stickers - letters, sentiment, flourish and fleur-de-lis - hoarders everything except card base and ribbon and silver cord - Thanks for the memories - Creative Imaginations papers
