I love all the journaling. Davy Jones just makes me laugh because of the Brady Bunch episode. I love how you did the title!

Davy Jones - pg. 1

In May 2008, I got to see Davy Jones perform at Epcot, in Walt Disney World, as part of their Flower Power Concert Series. It was the highlight of my trip!

Journaling says: To coincide with Epcot's Flower and Garden Festival, each year they invite performers from the “flower power” generation to entertain the guests. There were lots of great performers this year, but I only had an interest in one: Davy Jones. Gosh, I've wanted to see him forever! He was my first crush. I can remember running home from school to catch The Monkees and The Brady Bunch each afternoon on TV. (And yes, I was so jealous of Marcia Brady when Davy came to her school dance!)

Davy put on such a great show. Okay, so maybe he isn't the most amazing vocalist ever, but he is just so much fun! You can't help but smile when he's on stage. He has this great way of laughing at himself. He just comes off as the sort of person you'd love to have over for dinner.

I was prepared to wait in line as long as I had to, to make sure I saw at least one of his shows. As it turned out, waits weren't that bad, and I managed to see THREE performances! This was, unquestionably, the highlight of this trip. I am so glad we got to see him!
